FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITY

4th Annual Achilles
St. Patrick's Day
5K Fun Run/Walk

Sunday, March 16th, 2003

The Achilles Track Club of Canada is hosting its Annual Achilles St. Patrick's Day 5K Fun Run/Walk event creating awareness of athletes with disabilities in Ontario. Achilles is a charitable, volunteer based organization, which provides training and assistance to all individuals with disabilities to participate in running. Running is accessible to all, inexpensive, breaks down barriers between people with disabilities and able-bodied participants, and enhances health.

Your involvement in this event is the most positive way to show support and commitment to Ontario Special Olympics and the Achilles Track Club. By entering a team of TEN runners/walkers ($300.00) per team ($30.00 per person) 100% of all pledges raised by your team goes back to support your Special Olympics community. Athletes needing assistance for their run/walk will be provided with an aide for the event (please indicate on registration form).

Each member of your team will receive the following:

- Official Event T-shirt
- Hot Irish Stew
- One Pint of Beer/Soft Refreshments

Please Note: Cost of registration for Athletes with a disability is only $15.00

Please check off "Achilles Athlete" box on registration form.

The registration form can be found HERE.

More details can be found HERE.
