Beijing Opera Liquid Face Mask
Beijing Opera brand facepaints are professional quality stage paints used in Oriental style theatrical productions. The paints have become a popular accessory among the general populace. If you look on the dance floor of almost any nightclub in Seattle, you'll see dozens of faces wearing garish, demonic, animalistic or angelic coatings. Comes in all major colors in both matte and metallic. 15Y/tube. Handbook on application and traditional styles 20Y.
Spray Paint
Spray paint comes in hundreds, perhaps even thousands of colors. There are also varying types for different jobs. Cost is for average multi-purpose paint. Small model-painting sized can 10Y. Standard-sized can (about 3 times the amount in the small can) 20Y.
Utility Coveralls
Pockets, pockets, and more pockets! These nifty things allow you to carry nearly everything with you. They have the added advantage of being fire and chemical resistant. Furthermore, you look like a technician wearing these things, and technicians are allowed everywhere! 200Y for a standard suit, (grants 1 point armor against chemicals spilled on suit, non-flammable) or 1000Y for a higher-quality suit (2 points armor vs. chemicals, 1 point armor vs. flames)
Rope
Average, everyday, run of the mill, nylon rope. Usefull stuff. Standard rope has a test strength of 150kg. Heavy can carry 300kg or more. 1Y/m of the standard stuff. Heavy rope costs 3Y/m plus. Weight for standard is 1kg/20m. Weight for heavy is 1kg/15m or more.
Climbing Gear
Used with rope to aid in the ascent or descent of steep surfaces. Consists of a harness and connector rings, pitons, a small hammer/pick, gloves with grips on the palms, and spikes that fit on most normal shoes or boots. Reduce difficulty of climb rolls. Also allows descent at extremely rapid pace with a successful check. 300Y.
Baseball Bat
While baseball isn't anywhere near as popular as it was during the 20th century, it's still around. Also great for beating the tar out of those punks who are trying to rob your little family owned liquor store. Comes in both aluminum and synthetic wood. 25Y or more for either variety. Generally deal Str+1L physical damage or Str+1M stun damage, depending on how the user is aiming. If attempting to deal stun damage, double impact armor to resist. Heavier bats may also deal more damage or have a higher power.
Power Tools
Drills, circular saws, nail guns, power clamps, cutting/welding torches, and other assorted electric tools fall in this category. Useful for drilling things, sawing things, nailing things, clamping things, and cutting or welding things, these also sometimes find more unorthodox uses, frequently as weapons. Cost is 50Y or more depending on the quality of the tool. At least 100Y or more is required for the tool to have both a cord and a battery. Damage should be dictated by the tool and circumstance. The difficulty should also be raised for using a tool as a melee weapon. A nail gun must be modified to fire nails without actually pressing the gun to a surface. Once modified, give a nail gun holdout pistol ranges, a damage of 4L, and a +2 difficulty.
Switch-Stiletto
A small cylinder with finger-grooves in it and a hole at one end, this weapon is activated by striking a target with it while pulling the trigger. A CO2 cartridge in the base of the hilt extends the blade with an additional 20psi to the strike. Once extended, the blade locks into place, turning it into a handy stiletto. Comes with a puncture-resistant leather sheath (to prevent accidental stabbing while the weapon is in your pocket). The blade can be retracted by holding the trigger and a release button on the butt of the hilt while holding the weapon upright. 50Y, 5Y for a CO2 cartridge (good for 10 uses) Damage is as a normal dagger. The initial strike gains a +2 to the power of the weapon.
All Purpose Tape
One-Hundred meters of high-strength all-purpose tape. This stuff is about twice as tough as the old duct (duck) tape of the 20th century, is completely waterproof, and will even bond with damp (but not soaked) materials. 25Y.
