b. January 12, 1930.
Glenn Yarbrough was one of the original Limeliters. He performed on his own both before joining the group, and is still performing today as a soloist. His voice is recognized as perhaps the most lyrical in the world.
Glenn Yarbrough is perhaps most well known for his number 12 charting hit in 1965, "Baby the Rain Must Fall," which was written by Glenn's successor as tenor in The Limeliters, Ernie Sheldon.
I have more photos and a short biography about his early career on the1963 Souvenir Program - Glenn Yarbrough page.
