Bread Cutlet

Ingredients:
Bread -8 slices
onion -1 medium size
garlic - 4 pods
ginger - 2 inches
chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
green chillies - 3
salt
grated coconut - 2 tbsp
cilantro
oil -3 - tbsp

Directions:
Chop onion,garlic,ginger,chillies.Pour 2 tsp oil ,fry them with chilly powder, grated coconut and cilantro. Remove the sides of the bread ,dip in water and squeeze excess water,add the fried item to the bread and knead.Shape them into cutlets and shallow fry in a tawa.

Vegetable Cutlet

Ingredients:
Chopped carrots, green beans, bell pepper, green peas- 1 cup
onion -1 medium size
garlic paste- 1/4 tsp
ginger paste- 1/4 tsp
chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
green chillies (pepper)- 3
salt
turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
cilantro
oil for deep frying the cutlets
bread crumbs-1/2 cup
egg whites-2
potato-1
bread-2

Directions:
Cook potato seperately and mash.Saute onions , all vegetables and pepper in little oil till vegetables are tender.Remove the sides of the bread ,dip in water and squeeze excess water,add potato,chilly powder, salt, cilantro, sauted vegetables, onions and knead to a dough.Make balls of equal size and pat into cutlets. Coat them with egg whites and bread it (coat with bread crumbs) and deep fry to golden brown crispy cutlets, enjoy them with ketchup.

Ingredients:
Minced meat -1/2 lb
onion -1 medium size
garlic paste- 1/2 tsp
ginger paste- 1/2 tsp
chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
green chillies (pepper)- 3
salt
turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
cilantro
oil for deep frying the cutlets
bread crumbs-1/2 cup
egg whites-2
potato-1
bread-2

Directions:
Cook meat with little salt and turmeric powder. Fish Cutlet

Fish Cutlet

Ingredients:
Baked fish- 1 cup(Bones should be removed )
Green Pepper-3
Chopped cilantro-2 tbsp
Chopped onion-1/4 cup
Grated coconut-2 tbsp
Garlic-2 cloves
Cummin seeds-1 tsp
Egg-1
Bread crumbs-1/2 cup
Oil for frying
Salt to taste

Directions:
Chop Green pepper and garlic finely. Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan, saute coconut, green pepper, cilantro,garlic, onion, cummin seeds for 5 minutes.Mix this with baked fish,salt and make into flat cutlets. Dip in beaten egg, roll in bread crumbs and deep fry to golden brown cutlets. Serve with Ketchup or mint chutney.


Chicken Cutlet

Ingredients:
Ground chicken-1/2 lb
onion -1 medium size
garlic paste- 1/2 tsp
ginger paste- 1/2 tsp
chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
green chillies (pepper)- 3
salt
turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
garam masala-1/2 tsp(available in Indian grocery stores)
cilantro
oil for deep frying the cutlets
bread crumbs-1/2 cup
egg whites-2
potato-1
bread-2

Directions:
Cook chicken with little salt and turmeric powder. Cook potato seperately and mash.Saute onions and pepper in little oil.Remove the sides of the bread ,dip in water and squeeze excess water,add potato,chicken,garam masala, chilly powder, salt, cilantro, sauted onions and pepper and knead to a dough.Make balls of equal size and pat into cutlets. Coat them with egg whites and bread it (coat with bread crumbs) and deep fry to golden brown crispy cutlets, enjoy them with ketchup.
