Welcome to our humble website. We are the Shorinjiryu Kenyukai Karate Club of Long Island, NY. As you may have already guessed, we study a traditional Japanese form of Karate known as Shorinjiryu Kenyukai Karate. The branch of the Shorinjiryu Kenyukai Karatedo Club that practices in Setauket, NY holds classes Saturdays, and Thursdays in the Stony Brook Raquet and Health Club located behind the Edwards Shopping Center. The Saturday afternoon class is held from 1:00pm-2:15pm, while the Thursday night class is held from 7:00pm-8:15pm. Adults and children of both genders are welcome and the classes are undivided. Classes are also available in North Babylon on Mon. and Wed. nights. Any questions or comments can be sent to owhitehurst@hotmail.com.
