We are barely able to survive.

We live from day to day.

KeADILan has always been a poor party. We have been operating on a shoestring budget from the beginning. After the General Elections, however, our situation has become much worse. Our limited resources have become even more scarce. We deployed whatever little we had to fight the Election.

It is because our financial situation is so critical that keADILan is now launching an appeal for funds. It is an appeal that is directed to all Malaysians; to men and women of goodwill everywhere who support our struggle for justice.

The keADILan struggle for justice is vital for the future of our nation. It is vital for the wellbeing of our children and our children’s children. Together, with the other parties in the Barisan Alternatif, keADILan aspires to eliminate the abuse of power and corruption; to check authoritarianism and the concentration of power in the hands of a few; to fight communalism and the politics of fear.

To continue this noble struggle for a just, democratic society, we must be prepared to undertake a variety of activities; to expand our membership; to organise our branches and divisions; to publish a regular party bulletin; to disseminate pamphlets, cassettes and videos; to hold ceramahs and seminars.

All these activities require funds. A strong, secure financial base is a fundamental prerequisite for our struggle for justice. It would be a shame if a new multi-ethnic party which has given so much hope to the nation is forced to abandon its struggle on behalf of the Malaysian people simply because it has no money.

Parti Keadilan Nasional will of course be exploring various ways and means of raising funds. But it is our earnest hope that you will also help. Any contribution, however modest, is welcome. Every Ringgit is a solid brick in our endeavour to build a just Malaysia.
