This ring is dedicated to web sites which feature educational information and rock art presentations. The purpose of this ring is to expose viewers to a wide variety of sites where "ancient artwork" is displayed. If you are unfamiliar with Internet or Web Rings, they link together different Internet sites. A person finding the Ancient Rock Art Webring logo can visit every member's site, without having to use a search engine or know the other sites' address. Any site, covering the subject or resource may join the ring, as long as your page is suitable for ALL age groups. Currently, the member listing is short due to the ring's recent birth (October 15, 1998) however, it is sure to grow with time and your support.
If you would like to join
the Ancient Rock Art Webring, just follow the 3 steps outlined
below.
The process is easy, but some things just have to be said.
[Step 1] The guidelines for joining the web ring are simple but strictly adhered to:
Your site must be subject related.."
All educationally appropriate subjects (i.e., petroglyphs, archaeoastronomy, archaeology, ancient cultures, hard sciences, history, social sciences, arts, etc.) are acceptable sites and are encouraged to join this web ring.
The site's content must be suitable for viewing by visitors of Any Age and must not link to sites with questionable materials.
All sites added to the web ring queue are previewed for academic and/or educational content.
If your in agreement to the terms
specified above,
please continue to step 2.
[Step 2] Submit your site:
Once the form (below) is submitted, your site will be added immediately to the web ring queue and you will receive an e-mail notification of your ID# and password {keep this very important information}. Please allow at least 1-2 days for the process of site review by the Ringmaster.
When you receive confirmation of your acceptance into the ring, the necessary information for inclusion of the web ring's HTML fragment (Ancient Rock Art Webring control panel) will be given to you at that time. To protect the ring's integrity, Do Not put the ring's control panel or logo on your page until permission is granted by your acceptance into the ring!
One week (after your acceptance) will be allowed for you to place the control panel on your page. This must be in place before your site can be officially added to the ring! Please E-mail the Ringmaster when you are ready. If the Ringmaster does not receive notification that the Ancient Rock Art HTML fragment has been installed on your site after 7 days, your site will be dropped from the queue and you will have to reapply.
If for any reason your site is not added to the ring, every effort will be made to contact you and let you know why your site was not accepted.

Once you have received notification that your site has been accepted into the ring, you have 7 days to place the HTML fragment on your page and you must e-mail the Ringmaster when ready. That's all there is to it.If you have any questions, just contact the Ringmaster.
