HIGHLIGHTS
Christmas Program, reenactment of the Stations of the Cross, Altar Server, weekly Mass and Rosary. Sixth Grade Camp, Academic Decathlon, Speech Contest, Spelling Bee, Student Council, Writing Festival, Ice Cream Social, Talent Show, Grandparent’s Day, Science Fair, Big Buddy Program with Kindergarten. Field trips include, Atwater Space Camp, Egyptian Museum, Technology Museum and other curriculum related field trips. (band through Mr. Cef Jamero)
*Literature: Read and analyze novels and short stories. Poetry including: The Mid Wife’s Apprentice, Where the Red Fern Grows, The Black Pearl. Critical thinking and literacy concepts
*English: Mastery of parts of speech, how to articles, short stories, and various group activities
*Vocabulary: Definitions, stress on syllables, word usage
*Speeches: Expository and narratives
