John C Miller,79, for 15 years caretaker of the Memorial Park cemetery, died yesterday afternoon at the home of a daughter, Mrs.Dalton Richards at New Harmony, following a three month illness.
Other survivors include: sons, John Harold and Charles Raymond: sisters, Mrs Emma Hitch, Mrs Lillie Nickens, Mrs Amelia Sassee, Evansville and Mrs Carrie Oakley, Indianapolis; a brother, George L Miller, and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Alexander funeral home. Rev. N.S. Jeffry officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
Pneumonia caused the death of Mrs Annie M Miller, 71, wife of John C Miller, 2315 West, Pennsylvania Street, at 12:15 o'clock yesterday morning at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Monday morning at the home with continued rites at 10:30 o'clock at the Simpson M.E. church. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
Surviving Mrs Miller, in addition to the husband, are a daughter, Mrs Dalton Richards; two sons, Charles and John Harold Miller, three sisters, Miss Grace Lanman, Mrs Belle Dhonau and Mrs Lucy Krauss of Indianapolis and six grandchildren.
