The condition of Walter Dhonau, 1404 Law Avenue, who is in critical condition at his home as a result of a prolonged attack of hiccoughs took a slight condition for the better yesterday.
The hiccoughs became less pronounced and hope is held out that they may be entirely eradicated in a few hours. Mr Dhonau is in a very weakened condition as a result of his long seige and physicians say that but for his iron constitution he would now be a dead man.
