Feedback on Matthew 2 from Shirley Hogan

A. Does it make a difference to us, the congregation, "what" the magi were? Or, their degree of joyfulness?

B. That they were a magician or sorcerer or whatever works for me.

C. I always thought that they were "kings" - now, I think astrologer, at least scientst, but not king.

II.

A. OK

B. This is interesting, but do we need to know this?

III.

A. This certainly says a lot about Joseph's faith and obedience.

IV.

A. Now, I'm confused ...

B. OK, are the authors being "politically correct"?

V.

A. Does this imply there may be a choice in being saved?

C. This is really interesting!

VI. This is deep stuff .....
