John T Broshears, Son of Thomas and Elizabeth Broshears, was born June 2 1879, and departed this life April 12 1928, at the age of 48 years,10 months and 10 days old. Mr Broshears became ill with pneumonia. He bore his sickness with relatives and always had a smile for those who came to see him. He was always a true and honest man. On December 27 1905, he was united in marriage to Myrtle Black. To that union were born twelve children. The girls names were as follow: Mrs Emma Bass; Mrs Lula Bass; Cloie, Mamie, and Morry. The boys names are: Paul L, Gurley, George, Dewey and James. And Thomas who preceded him in death. He leaves his wife also. Besides his wife and children he leaves four sisters. Morry Tennison, Louise Powers, Emma Brown and Flora Hurt; three sisters, Tena Stephens, Nancy Barr and Allie Phillips, and his Father preceded him in death. He leaves his aged Mother and two grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his departure.

Funeral services were held at the Christian Church at Tennyson April 14 1928. Rev. Cloah Fisher officiated. Burial in the Clark Cemetery.

Ora Q Dorsey, 68, of 2461 Sweetser Ave, died at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at St Mary's Hospital. He was an employee of Bucyrue Erie Co. for 22 years before retiring. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs Dorothy Hawkins and Miss Kathy Dorsey, both of Evansville; three brothers, Eugene H Sr., Robert and Garland, all of Evansville; a sister Mrs John Reisinger of Evansville, a half sister, Mrs Cecil Farmer of Tennyson; and three grandchildren. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Saterday at Schafer-Dorsey Funeral Home, where services are pending.

Services for Ora Q Dorsey, 68 of 2461 Sweetser Ave, who died Thursday at St Mary's Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Schafer-Dorsey Funeral Home with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. The Rev. J Howard Clayman will officiate.

Mrs Mayme Ester Dorsey, 57 of 2210 Schutte Road, died at 11:15 a.m. Friday at St Mary's Hospital. She was a member of Washington Ave Baptist Church. Serviving are her husband, Quincy; two daughters, Mrs Dorothy Hawkins and Miss Kathy Dorsey of Evansville; A Foster daughter, Miss Mary Dorsey of Evansville; four sistes, Mrs Nettie Watson and Mrs Shirley Butch, both of Evansville, Mrs Myrtle Bass of Boonville, and Mrs Leona Easler of Owensboro Kentucky; a brother William Black of Tennyson,Ind. and three Grandchildren.
