For Women:

First and foremost, check out the Endo Sisters Survival Kit - it contains everything from support groups, book recommendations, lists of associated doctors, and so much more!  Make this your first stop along your journey to locating a wealth of support.

Also; there is a world-wide Endo Association which supports women with Endo by providing education, information, support groups, referrals, and compassion.  You can become a member by going here.

The Endometriosis Research Center also offers a wealth of information, articles, news, advice and help with regards to Endometriosis.

You should also read a brief article on "Endometriosis and it's affect on our relationships".

For Men:

If you are a man who loves someone who has Endometriosis, you must feel especially powerless. Most men like to fix things and Endometriosis is something that, so far, nobody has a cure for.  It is of great importance that you educate yourself about this disease so that you know what to expect and how to react to certain things that you and your female loved one may encounter.  There is a support group for men; you may go here to view it.

Though short, you may want to also check out Fred's Story.

Another man's story - read Doug's Story.

For Families & Others:

If you don't know what to say to someone who has Endometriosis and you would like to read an article that can inform you of what to say and how to react, this one is a good start.

Want to know what NOT to say?  Read the list of things that a woman has put together - some of the things said to her with regards to her disease are just plain mean!

You NEED to read this!  It's a letter written by an Endo sufferer and it directed to YOU - to anyone who knows and/or loves someone who has Endometriosis.  Click here to read it.

Here's a letter written by Dr. Perloe - is directed towards family and friends of women suffering from infertility (a well known 'side-effect' of Endometriosis).  View it here.
