Potomac Curling Club

Above is an artist's rendering of the proposed Potomac Curling Club's new facility. The facility will be attached to The Gardens Ice House in Calverton, Maryland. Calverton is located between Washington, DC, Annapolis, MD and Baltimore, MD. The facility will have 4 dedicated sheets of curling ice, and a large warm room, bar, kitchen and changing rooms. We are currently in the fund raising stage and plan to open the facility at the beginning of the 1999/2000 curling season in October, 1999. We hope to host a Cherry Blossom Bonspiel at the end of March or early April, 2000. Below is a rather difficult to read copy of the floor plan, but the image is high resolution, so if you download it, you should be able to zoom in your graphics editor and get a better view. This is a very exciting time for the Potomac Curling Club, we have been curling on arena ice for 35 years, and we really look forward to curling in a dedicated facility.
