If you want to lose weight you have to work at it. There are no
miracle drugs that can make you look fabulous. I admit if you take
some you can lose extra weight, but you have to workout while taking
them.

Exercise and eating right are the true ways to burn fat. Again with
the eating, you have to burn more calories then you take in. Remember that calories come from fat, carbs, and protein. Your body will burn the carbs first. Carbs are the body's fuel. After the carbs are burned, then your body will start to burn the fat calories. This is when you will start to get some results.

Normally people will take in around 2000-2500 calories a day. This
is okay, but if you're trying to lose some weight you'd better not take in that many. Try to take in around 1500-1800 calories a day. A good thing to do is to make a chart of your daily meals. This can be a pain but will really help. What you want to do is chart out what meals you eat. Record how many calories you take in, how many calories are from fat, and how many calories are from carbs. I think that you take the grams of carbs and times it by 3.5 to find out how many calories it is. The calories from fat will usually be written on the box.

The next thing that you want to do is to find out how many calories you burn during your workouts. Try to use the machines that show on the automatic counter. When you finish for the day you want to have
burned more calories than you have taken in.

IMPORTANT---Do not malnutrition yourself. Make sure that you take
vitamins and get in a good amount of other nutrients. If you do not
you will only harm yourself. Don't cut out fat completely. Your body needs a little to function.

IMPORTANT---When you weigh yourself before and then after, and you
have lost three pounds, you did not make progress. That is water
weight that is lost. As soon as you drink water it will come back
on. I say this because some people think they are making progress
and they really aren't. It takes a lot more than one day to lose 3
pounds.
