When I first saw this painting I thought that the speckled black stripe across the bottom was a road and then one day I realized that it was a wall. Naturally then I was worried about how the animals at the bottom could get to the barn. The title on the back is “Langdale Pikes” in Westmoreland, England.

Have a look at the closeup detail of the animals and see if you can decide what species they are. (I have ruled out llamas.)
