1952: OMAHA STEAKS GOES
                     COAST-TO-COAST

                     For years, local customers had asked
                     about sending Omaha Steaks to family,
                     friends, and business associates out of
                     state. As our reputation spread, more
                     beef lovers from around the country
                     started asking for us by name, as well.
                     Something had to be done! So, in 1952,
                     we took the bold step of offering Omaha
                     Steaks by mail. At the time, the idea
                     seemed a little crazy to a lot of people.
                     But 45 years later, we're glad we did
                     it...and so are our customers in all 50
                     states!
 

OMAHA STEAKS IN THE WHITE HOUSE

Omaha Steaks have been sent to dignitaries around the world.
President Eisenhower and Kennedy both enjoyed Omaha Steaks in
the White House. Nebraska Governor Frank B. Morrison sent
Omaha Steaks as gifts to the governors of all 50 states. On one
occasion, Omaha Steaks were even ordered as gifts for the rulers of
Denmark, Norway, and Sweden!

 1966: NAME CHANGES TO
 "OMAHA STEAKS
 INTERNATIONAL"

 Having outgrown its origins as a local
 meat wholesaler, Table Supply Meat
 Company opens an all-new plant to keep
 up with the nationwide demand. To
 reflect the change, the plant is christened
 with a new company name - Omaha
 Steaks International.
 
 

1970'S: OMAHA STEAKS BROADENS CUSTOMER
CHOICES

In 1975 Omaha Steaks began building an inbound call center, giving
our customers a quick and toll-free way to conveniently reach us,
anytime, day or night. Omaha Steaks began calling our valued
customers in 1978, allowing us to keep them updated on the latest
specials and exciting new products. In 1979 Omaha Steaks became
one of the first companies in the country to offer toll-free customer
service, making us even more accessible to the most important people
in our company — the customer.

1990'S: OMAHA STEAKS GOES ELECTRONIC

Forging ahead with expanding technologies, Omaha Steaks first went
online in 1991. By 1994 response to our online services had been so
