It's Grrreat!!!
Progress report for week of 9/22/02

Totality of week:

I didn't get to individual day progress reports this week (may be one tomorrow though), so you are just gonna have to deal with one that covers the whole week.

We made a lot of progress this week. The wheels have been lightened and some cool hubs made. The hubs are press fit with a hammer, and then we are going to lock them in from the other side with a screw down into the drill's drive shaft, some loctite and a washer. Check out these shots. Note: Look how much we lightened the already incredibly light colsons here! Milled out a whole bunch on one side! (Hope we don't run into a spinner's tooth on those!)

Also, Mike did a buch of work on the frame too! The lexan motor mounts / drive pods are more or less complete. They just need a couple holes for the Victors and some slots for battery mount ties. Take a look!

Also, a rare photograph of Mike, working at the hubs on the lathe. This is in the college machine shop. They have EVERYTHING in there!
