THE LAWS OF WICCA:
1. We are of the old ways, among those who walk with the Goddess and God. We recieve Their love.
2. Keep the Sabbats and Esbats to the best of your abilities, For to do otherwise is to lessen your connection with the Goddess and God.
3. HARM NONE!!! This is not open to interpretation of change.
4. Shed NO blood in ritual. The Goddess and God need no blood to be duely worshipped.
5. Those of our way are kind to all creatures.
6. Teach only what you know, to the best of your ability, to those students whom you choose. But teach NOT to those who would use your instruction for destruction or control. Also teach not to boost pride, for ever remember: He/she who teaches for vain or glory, shall take little pride in his/her handiwork. He/she who teaches out of love, shall be enfolded in the arms of the Goddess and God.
7. Ever remember that if you would be of our way, keep the oldest law close to your heart, for it is the nature of the Wicca to keep the law.
8. If ever the need arises, any law may be may be changed or discarded, and new laws written to replace them, so long as the new laws don't break the oldest law of all: HARM NONE!!
Blessings of the Goddess and God on us all!!!
1. The power shall NOT be used to bring harm, to injure or to control others. But if the need arises, the power SHALL be used to protect your life or the lives of others.
2. The power is used only when the need dictates.
3. The power can be used for your own gain, as long as by doing so you HARM NONE!!
4. It is unwise to accept money for the use of the power, for it quickly controls it's taker. Be not as those of other religions.
5. Use not the power for prideful gain, for doing so cheapens the mysteries of Wicca and magic.
6. Ever remember that the power is the scared gift of the Goddess and God and should never be misused or abused.
1. The duties of the High Priestess are to lead the sacred ceremonies and rites. The High Priestess also is the primary teaches of the coven.
2. The duties of the High Priest is to be co-leader of the scared ceremonies and rites. The High Priest also is the secondary teacher of the coven.
3. There are 4 titles in the coven: the Seeker, the Initiate, the Intermediate, and the High Priestess/High Priest.
The things reveled in the coven are to STAY in the coven. It is only for the eyes and ears of others of the same tradition. If there are any questions about the coven, they are to be directed to the High Priestess/Priest.
Try to work it out among yourselves. If that dosen't work, try using a fellow coven member to act as a go between. If that dosen't work, it needs to be brought to the attention of the High Priest, then to the High Priestess. THE HIGH PRIESTESS' WORD WILL BE FINAL!!
If a coven member misses five(5) consecutive coven meetings without a valid reason(which is to be determined by the High Priestess) then the coven member will be banned from the coven and all coven activities for three(3)months. If missing ceremonies and rites continue to be a problem, then the coven member will be banished from the coven indefinitely.
Each month a schedule of events and days of observance will be handed out at meetings.
Under NO circumstances is there to be bloodshed or ritual sacrifices of animals of any kind in OR out of the circle.
This is the central unifying theme of most Laws: Wiccans simply DO NOT CAUSE HARM TO SELF OR OTHERS!
Magic is NOT to be worked for pay. This could lead to performing destructives rites. Magic is never to be used to boost one's pride or to cause harm in any way, unless your life or the life of others are in danger. Binding spells are an acceptable spell in the above exception.
