There are several who come to Texas they are known by Winter Texans who come from the northern states and even Canada every winter usually around October they begin to arrive to stay for the winter season, then around March these Winter Texans leave to return to their homes from which ever State they came from, I will just name a few like Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Minnesota they come from so many States the list is so long, even some from as far as Canada, these Winter Texans they come to visit, relax and yes, let us not forget when there are warm days some like to go sailing.

The people are friendly, southern hospitality which goes a long way, you want a friend be a friend this applies where ever you go.

to start a new home in this new land to them, I will name just a few States such as California, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Missouri, Nevada, Texas, Louisiana, Virginia they learned alot in farming, building homes and so forth, many of them lost their lives because the weather, illness etc. as their faith was strengthen through prayer and reading God's Word for the ones who survived let us say we can be thankful to God for what we have today! Oh should you ever come to to the lower part of Texas and live as your electric provider Do not select CPL Retail Energy
They say their rates are low they are not. They vote themself a raise and the cost of electricity goes up, and the consumer pays for it I first started with them I was paying around $38 to $40.00 a month the highest bill that I paid in 2010 was $129.00 I do not recommend CPL
