GOD ANSWERS PRAYER!
My son was up to bat at the baseball field, where he was ready to hit a fast flying hard ball. It was inside the plate, hit him squarely on the knee cap, then he went down into the dirt. I could not get over the 8 foot high fence to lay my hands on him and pray, so I immediately said out loud, " God, thank you for healing Kyle's knee, in the name of Jesus Christ." Kyle got up onto his feet a split second later, then walked without a limp, and without a tear to first base. As the game commenced, he ran full throttle to second base, then third, and eventually home. (Later, I noticed he did not even have a bruise on him.) A comment from one of the team moms, with dropped jaw, in awe, " Prayer works, huh?!!" God be thanked for HIs power and mercy and help in time of need.
GOD HEALS, UNCONDITIONALLY
My husband, Terry, got a call from one of his employees. He was desperate. His live-in girlfriend was in the hospital, hemmorraging to death, after a normal, routine procedure. He explained that the doctors tried everything, and she was not getting better. They told him there was nothing else they could do for her.Terry taught the man about the power of God, His willingness to heal, and he taught him how to believe and receive this promise.Then they prayed together, while I spoke in tongues. A couple hours later, the man called back, saying his girlfriend had just been released from the hospital, totally healed and the doctors could not explain it. Well, we can!!! God is so good! Full of compassion, mercy and grace. He healed this woman, (who never came to one of our meetings) and delivered her so she could live and give God glory through this witness of deliverance!
GOD SUPPLIES
I have recently begun to pursue a professional fine art career. God has opened up so many doors and blessed me ever since I made up my mind to get serious and get to work on it.... For example, this May,it was made available to rent a small panel at a very BIG important art show at Stockley Gardens in the Ghent section of Norfolk, VA. For $25 I could show my work. Since I already have my own panels, I was allowed to set up on 3 panels, not just one, and cover them with my tent. This show commands a space fee of $190! Also, I sold one of my biggest pieces there. Had I not been able to set up on my own panels, which had more room, I would not have been able to hang that particular piece.
Recently, I was invited to have a one woman art exhibition in downtown Norfolk, VA during the month of May,2000.For an emerging artist, this is a very welcome honor, as the business owner will be inviting art critics and newspaper and local magazine reporters to cover the big event. Potentially, hundreds of people will view my work for the first time, adding buyers and collectors to a growing list of clients. It is exciting to be preparing for this event, making art and painting nearly everyday.God be thanked for opening this door!
THE HARVEST IS PLENTEOUS
This past April, I journeyed to the Youngstown, Ohio area to visit friends and to focus on the things of God without distraction. While I was there, I went to my friends' local church. During Sunday school class, I was able to speak the truth in love and help minister to God's people freely. I prayed that He would open doors to serve and help people. Then, during the Easter Sunday service, the pastor made available the opportunity to stand and speak. I stood up boldly, and proclaimed the new birth and God's love for His people. The following Tuesday evening, three women came to my friends' home for a Bible fellowship where I taught on The Will of God. The reason I am telling you this is that I learned there are hungry hearts out there, and that it is highly effective to move and serve out where the people are gathered. Even as Jesus went to the synagogues, we too can go to local churches and believe God for the open doors to serve and speak and bring deliverance to His people.
