Several days ago, I was at a business meeting, talking to a man who referred to the record about seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and ALL these things ( food, drink, clothes )will be added unto you.( MATTHEW 6:25-34) He pointed out that Solomon is mentioned in this passage. Well, I knew Solomon was referred to, but I never put the significance of Solomon's presence in these verses together with all of our needs being met. Previously, I limited this record to only mean basic needs; enough to get by on. But SOLOMON is used as a comparative illustration here. He was the wisest man and a VERY wealthy man. Why didn't God use the herdsman prophet as an illustration? Certainly Amos had enough to get by on. However, God used Solomon, and compared his glorious raiment with how lilies of the field are arrayed, and yet, God said he would much MORE clothe us! How little believing I used to have in this subject! Now I realize that God truly DOES want me to PROSPER and He will supply ABUNDANTLY,as He did for Solomon!

JOSHUA 1:8

BELOVED, I WISH ABOVE ALL THINGS THOU MAYEST PROSPER AND BE IN HEALTH, EVEN AS THY SOUL PROSPERS.

Remember the Lord your God! He gave us power to get wealth, He prospers His children. We do not get it all on our own.We do need to think the WOrd about our situation, expecting to receive the promise before we have it. He desires above all things that we prosper, even as our soul prospers.Well, I have enough to get by on and a little more besides that. I realize that if I am not prospering as much as God has made available, is my soul prospering in the riches of God's Word of truth? Do I believe God's promises for my life? Am I claiming His abundance? Am I planting the very best seeds for the highest yield? Do I even believe I am WORTHY of His prosperity? That's the key to this verse. Get your soul prospering in the feast of God's promises, in the riches of His glory.

NOW TO HIM, WHO BY THE ACTION OF HIS POWER THAT IS AT WORK WITHIN US, IS ABLE TO DO SUPERABUNDANTLY, FAR OVER AND ABOVE ALL THAT WE ASK OR THINK-INFINITELY BEYOND OUR HIGHEST PRAYERS, DESIRES, THOUGHTS, HOPES AND DREAMS...

I am what I believe I am. I have what I believe I will have. I merely claimed a small portion of what God can and will do for me. I only asked for "enough and a little more" to get by on, never the best of the best, most certainly never God's finest.However, it is clear God is able to do exceeding abundantly above ALL I could ask or think, according to the power that works in me,(clothed with holy spirit) even beyond my wildest dreams. I had to realize that I stopped dreaming big. Well, if God said I'm better than that lily and the lily is greater than Solomon, then, I must be able to have what Solomon did! Why not dream BIG! Why not believe God BIG? God will give me whatsoever I ask for! Why limit God?

We are hung by the spoken words we speak. We have not because we ask not. (James 4:2, 1 John 3:22, 23 ) Either we confess the Word(abundance, wealth) in our situation, or we confess lack. We reap whatever we sow. Whether we sow words which contradict God's word, whether we speak words that confirm God's Word, we will manifest whatever we speak and we speak whatever we believe.(1 Corinthians 4:13).

I had to identify my habits when I spoke to myself. What was I saying? What do I say to others? Do I complain of lack? Do I confess God's prosperity? To get my soul prospering, I had to start speaking the truth in love, (not only to others, but to myself as well).

HEBREWS 11:1

NOW FAITH [believing] IS THE SUBSTANCE OF THINGS HOPED FOR, THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN.

Even though I may not have whatsoever I prayed for yet, believing is the substance it takes to receive. Believing is the EVIDENCE, its the proof of the truth, that I already received it, before I get it. Its a done deal!!

MARK 11:23,24

FOR VERILY I SAY UNTO YOU, THAT WHOSOEVER SHALL SAY UNTO THIS MOUNTAIN, BE THOU REMOVED, AND BE CAST INTO THE SEA; AND SHALL NOT DOUBT IN HIS HEART, BUT SHALL BELIEVE THAT THOSE THINGS WHICH HE SAITH SHALL COME TO PASS; HE SHALL HAVE WHATSOEVER HE SAITH. THEREFORE I SAY UNTO YOU, WHAT THINGS SO EVER YE DESIRE, WHEN YOU PRAY, BELIEVE THAT YE RECEIVE THEM AND YE SHALL HAVE THEM.

2 CORINTHIANS 1:20

FOR AS MANY ARE THE PROMISES OF GOD, THEY ALL FIND THEIR YES (ANSWER)IN HIM (CHRIST). FOR THIS REASON WE ALSO UTTER THE AMEN (SO BE IT) TO GOD THROUGH HIM-THAT IS , IN HIS PERSON AND BY HIS AGENCY-TO THE GLORY OF GOD.

When we plant the seeds of prosperity, we will reap an abundant harvest.Speak the truth to yourself and claim what is yours. God will provide the seeds to sow, which result in bountiful harvests.(2 CORINTHIANS 9:10).He will clothe us better than he clothed Solomon! Even if you are an uneducated or inexperienced young person, God will make a way. All things are possible for those who believe. He is the one who gives you the power to get wealth. Regardless of who you are and what you have been through, God said He desires above all things that you may prosper, even as your soul prospers. I stake my claim, how about you?
