Allright We Survived Day One..Bring On Day Two







05/21/00 & 05/22/00

I have to preface this page by saying that the majority of these pictures were taken on the first day...nevertheless the sites on day number two were just as beautiful as the first. As you can guess we were slow going "the day after"...specifically our glutes, hamstrings and quads they were all saying sit down...but the sun was out and we were in Yosemite...


After a power breakfast, pancakes with lots of maple syrup, compliments of the Curry Village cafeteria we decided on a course of action...a hike of course...a flat, flat, very flat hike...and we headed off to Mirror Lake.





Mirror Lake is right below Half Dome...and is of course very nice and dissapearing....not much of a lake really, more like a pond...hmm Mirror Pond? it just doesn't sound right...oops the picture to the left is obviously not Mirror Pond, it'sNevada Falls.






So after that hike...through another "poop trail" we were hungry and while we were sitting down we got to ready cheezy "Bear Aware" cartoons...nothing like a little lunch entertainment...well we accomplished what we came for and it was time to head back down to the City, well actually we wanted to get to this fruit stand that sold these great fruit rolls before they closed....we knew with Andrew's driving we'd make it...well if he went through the yellow lights like Renee would.

All in all it was a great trip and awesome hike that I would highly recommend...well see you soon - Bye.
