I was born.

(No I am not David Copperfield.)

More precisely, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at 10:21 in the morning on the 10th December 1975.

I was christened in Melbourne and had my first birthday in Bankok, Thailand. I don't know where my second and third birthdays were and can't be bothered asking, but my fourth (and probably my third) was in Hiro-o, Tokyo, Japan. My fifth was spent at my grandparents' in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia (actually it wasn't until I was maybe 10 that I realised I wasn't born in that Malay city). Then we moved to Hong Kong for seven years. Just after I turned twelve, we did our final move to where I still am - Sydney.

Year 8, I went to Santa Sabina, Strathfield. Pretty grounds and appropriately repressive. Year 9, I passed this really stupid exam and got into (whoh!) North Sydney Girls - home to Ruth Cracknell and Nicole Kidman (apparently she was a cow) which was really cool until we got the fascista principle from hell in Year 11.

Uni career: I started off doing vet science being the childhood dream, dropped out, worked for the rest of the year then re-enrolled in Arts/Law at Sydney Uni. Arts was great, I ended up doing Honours in English Literature basing my thesis on an Arab African writer. Now I'm finishing of my Law degree.

I'm sure you wanted to know... (truth, it was a gratuitous exercise in embedded links).
