A Day in Yomitan with Rob for banh mi and awamori

Today was a day I had been looking forward to for quite a while. In fact, I had begun to worry
that I wouldn't be able to catch up with Rob Avery before it was time for me to leave the island.
But it turned out just fine and we met at Kanako Tsuha's place, the Cafe NY, for that banh mi
that I had been hearing about for so long. It was a real treat and then the Ryukyu Awamori
distillery for a little tasting and buying spree. Yep. It was a good day all around.
