EXCURSIONS INTO UNEMPLOYMENT
A MESSAGE TO INTERESTED PARTIES: Please accept my apologies for not updating this page and site for a while. I've managed to find some gainful employment, and it certainly interrupts one's other, less lucrative pursuits.
I will be attempting to update these pages in the near future and get back to those who have submitted pieces for consideration. Thanks to all who have been visiting, submitting and sending comments. - LEE O'TOLSTOY
IDLING is a collection of unemployment/underemployment-related poetry, short fiction and general commentary.
Submissions are accepted on an on-going basis. There is no payment, but you will get exposure and an email link so readers and publishers can contact you directly. Contributors are also encouraged to directly link their accepted submissions to other sites.
Please send your submission to
wl471@freenet.victoria.bc.ca
{ASCII TEXT ONLY, no attached files}
Include a short (50 word) bio. If the material has appeared elsewhere, please provide details.
Each author submission will be placed in a file with a link from the IDLING INDEX. The interest here is in PURE TEXT and nothing else. Images, sound files, etc. cannot be included.
Submissions should be limited to five or six poems or two short (1,000 words or less) pieces of fiction or commentary. Other than that, go nuts.
