In 1996 Metro decided to buy 69 28ft Ford/Champion vans. These vans are 28ft long and seat 18 passengers. Then, Metro received another 20 in early 1998. These have minor differences. These coaches are unreliable, and will be replaced by 30ft Gilligs in 2000.
