Papers on all facets of Conrad's life and work are welcome. Those dealing with Laughing Anne or with "The Lagoon," "The Warrior's Soul," or "Christmas Day at Sea," works held in pre-publication states at TTU, are especially welcome.

Send 250 to 500 word abstracts of proposed papers and suggestions for panels to Donald W. Rude, Department of English, TTU, Box 3091, Lubbock, TX 79410, or direct inquiries to him at ditdr@ttacs.ttu.edu. Deadline for proposals for Papers and Panels is April 1, 2000.
