Pull up a Hay bale and stay a while

Hi I would like to share with you about my life and a very special horse that I have come to love and care for. I have never been an aggressive person and I never believed in beating horses. I always thought kindness was the way to every animals heart and found out at an early age that it was true that the more kindness you bestow upon them in return they will try to please you to the very end. I want to make my self clear that in some part of training you have to be firm with them but you don't have to take a whip to show firmness or get your point across. If you find your self to the point of just wanting to beat the snot out of them WALK AWAY and think about what you were trying to teach them and try a different approch maybe just maybe you were giving them mixed signals and they were confused and were telling you that they were confused. Well enough of that hope I haven't made you want to leave before you had a chance to read the stories. So pull up a Hay bale and stay a while and if I could figure out how to have coffie or pop and cookies while you are here i would have a big plate waiting for you. So I guess untill I figure out how to do that maybe you had better bring your own for right now. Connie

Story of Poco and me

The bond Poco and I have to some is hard to believe. Horse's do show affection to people and it is very easey to get if you are willing to take the time and build that relation with them it has to come from the heart and you have to be honest in all your thinking while you are around them. I'll be working on some of horses and the human heart and how when you come to a bump in the road how to help your horse and he help you to over come some of thoses bumps. So for right now please read the stories and if you have any questions on any thing please feel free to Email me at flyinghooves@yahoo.com and if you would like to see or hear how to's let me know and I will work on geting them on here or will email you. Thanks agian for stoping by.
