THE GRAHAM MCNALLY WEBSITE

Graham McNally

Welcome to my page.
I was born Graham Peter Andrew McNally, on the 30th of January 1978.
I am English, and spent the first few years of my life in Burgess Hill, West Sussex. Now I live in the beautiful county town of Lewes in East Sussex.

I attended the University of Southampton, and spent my first year in Chamberlain Hall. I studied (honest!) BSc. Biology with Computer Science and got Lower Second Class Honours (a 2:2).

I spent 12 months in Wales between 1999-2000, and got an MSc. in Computing at Cardiff University. I am currently employed as a Graduate Software Engineer at Thales Training and Simulation in Crawley, West Sussex.

I enjoy watching football, and support two teams. My first love is my local side, Brighton and Hove Albion. In the Premiership race, I cheer on the immortal Manchester United.

I enjoy reading too, mostly science fiction/fantasy, but I'm not really averse to any good book. I also enjoy writing myself once in a while, but you're unlikely to see me on the bestseller shelf (or in print at all for that matter) any time soon. I do have a few book ideas of my own on the go, which I periodically re-vamp. Perhaps it'll be readable by the time I retire!

I also enjoy Computers (otherwise these pages wouldn't be here), and as well as the usual games on my own. I like the Wing Commander Series, good old Tetris, Jack Nicklaus Golf, Actua Soccer, Transport Tycoon Deluxe, Theme Park, Civ II, Dungeon Keeper, Grand Theft Auto, Alpha Centauri, SimCity 3000, etc... (all of these and more have wasted my time! ;-) ),

I also enjoy a spot of programming when I get ideas (under the name of Powerboost Software) and put up some of my efforts when I manage to make them (almost) fit for public comsumption.

I don't always work or retire to my room though. I run a gym on the Internet Boxing 'Sim's, TBG (The Boxing Game) (public nickname of 'Mac Loaf'). I also play on the Swirve game of Utopia Macalon or a derivative. Also in the past, I've been a player on MUDs (Multi User Dungeons - imagine on-line Dungeons & Dragons -ish) such as the now sadly defunct Timescape MUD.

Also, myself and my ex-house-mates enjoyed the Star Wars Customisable Card Game, by Decipher Inc.

I also enjoy good music, my tastes being that of light/classic rock, and whilst I enjoy listening to the likes of Queen, Genesis, Bon Jovi and Oasis, my favourite artists have got to be Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman (who also have pages up here). These guys are simply the best.

Well, I guess that sort of covers it. It seems about time to go back to the pages.
Go on, indulge yourself - No-one else will...
