Dan-Dee International Stick Pony seen at a K-Mart store on
January 5, 2006. As you can see there are 6 white (for Silver)ponies
but also some gray and brown ones. These first came out a couple
of years and were in limited retail outlets. The price for
them at this K-Mart store was $19.99. They play the
Lone Ranger theme song and the head moves up and down.

Dan-Dee International Stick Pony seen at Wal Mart on
December 9, 2005. I didn't see any all white (for Silver)
but a variety of other colors. These first came out a couple
of years and were in limited retail outlets. The price for
them at this Wal Mart store was $16.76. They play the
Lone Ranger theme song and the head moves up and down.

The 3 photos, immediately above, are of the European DVD set, of season 5 of The Lone Ranger. LR fan, Joe McCarthy in Ireland, sent me his review of the 5 disc set: "As you can see from the photo's the set of 5 discs are well presented... The set includes an 8 page booklet which includes the creed and a, not always accurate, synopsis of each episode including acting and writing credits. As you established earlier, there are no extras. Unfortunately the intro to each episode is the short 'fiery horse' one, ending at the rock and followed by a white on black insert with the episode title. However, on the plus side the actual episodes were digitally re-mastered and the quality is excellent as are the end credits. It's a pity they didn't afford the same treatment to the intro, as it appears quite grainy. Joe also mentioned this: "If US fans are interested in acquiring this set I suggest they put their DVD make and model number into Google and see if they get an unlocking code back to allow them watch multi-region DVD's." Thanks to Joe for the photos and the review. (6/8/2005)
