General Information

Churchill Law Associates was were founded by Glenn Everett Churchill in 1993 with an original office in Marshfield, Massachusetts, serving Greater Boston, Southeastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod, and Metro West. An office was added in Arizona, in 1997, to serve the Greater Phoenix area of Arizona, including Scottsdale, Tempe, and Mesa. Affiliations are being created to provide additional service to the area of Greater Tucson.

    The firm has represented business, industry, and individuals in various legal matters ranging from business planning and organization to complex litigation. The firm has experience in representing clients in all state courts, the United States District Courts, and the United States Bankruptcy Courts. The firm has also represented clients before administrative agencies and tribunals such as public works departments, rate setting commissions, environmental protection agencies, workers' compensation boards, planning boards, and zoning commissions. The office has extensive experience with alternative dispute resolution programs, including arbitration, mediation, and concilliation.

    Other Services

    In addition to the traditional functions of a law firm, Churchill Law Associates can develop and implement training and educational programs for businesses and their employees. Contract research and writing services are also available for the preparation of legal materials, scholarly works, instructional materials, and the like.

    Glenn Everett Churchill attended Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, where he obtained his Bachelor's degree in the study of Philosophy. His degree was awarded with High Honors. He was inducted into the Honors Societies of Phi Kappa Phi and The Academy. He also conducted independent research and writing in the area of determinism as part of his participation in an honors program conducted by the school's Department of Philosophy.

    After graduating from Northeastern in 1974, Dr. Churchill worked in the security industry where his positions involved investigations, law enforcement, and security management. Dr. Churchill continues to provide consulting services in security and investigations.

    Dr. Churchill's law school training was taken at Franklin Pierce Law Center in Concord, New Hampshire, one of the nation's leading schools for training in intellectual property law. Dr. Churchill graduated from Franklin Pierce in 1979 with his Juris Doctor degree.

    Dr. Churchill was admitted to the practice of law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 1979 after his successful completion of the Massachusetts Bar Examination. He was admitted to the United States District Court of Massachusetts in 1980. He has been practicing law continuously in Massachusetts since his admission. He was associated with several law firms in Boston and served as in-house counsel for six years with a major Massachusetts construction and land development company before founding Churchill Law Associates in Marshfield, Massachusetts.

    Dr. Churchill is also an Adjunct Professor at Massachusetts Bay Community College where he teaches undergraduate courses in Business Law, Legal Research and Writing, Business Organizations, Family Law, and Criminal Law and Career Studies. He was formerly a guest lecturer on Environmental Law at Boston College Law School.

    As a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, Dr. Churchill is a member of the Association's Sections on Business Law, Health Law, and Public Law. He is also a member of the Association's Committees on Mental Health and Patients' Rights, Construction and Public Contracts, and Land Use and Zoning.

    In addition to his professional associations, Dr. Churchill serves on the National Nominations Committees for the Outstanding Young Women of America and Outstanding Young Men of America Awards; sits on the Board of Directors of Teen Challenge or Brockton, Massachusetts; and maintains a membership in the Marshfield Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Churchill is also listed with Marquis's Who's Who in the East, Strathmore's Who's Who, and the National Regisrty of Who's Who in Executives and Professionals.

    The recent addition of the Arizona office of The Churchill Law Offices was made possible by Dr. Churchill's admission to the State Bar of Arizona in 1997.
