New
Project
We are busy right now training the dogs for filming this September. It
looks like we will be starting to shoot in about 3 weeks and there is so
much to do! It is turning out to be more involved than we anticipated. I
have had to bring in quite a few new handlers. This is going to be FUN!
Well it has been weird
and wild spring and summer, unbelievable weather. I am guessing that we
are heading for a cold snowy winter... the geese are already
gathering........ Yahoo!
Property For Sale
My beautiful
mountain home is for sale. I have a page devoted to information on
my home and kennels in BC. The MLS number and other information
are on that page. If you are interested in what my kennels and
home looked like it is well worth a peek. I designed a kennel
system that is world class. If you want to do dog sledding, have
an amazing kennel system (and house) or have other animals that
need a totally secure place (8 foot high chainlink), this is for
you.
We actually got a chance
to do some updates!
I have updated the boys and girls pages and added a new page all about
our adventure with the dogs doing the Edmonton
Family Day Festival!
New Champion for Arcticsun!
A big congrats to Bev and Tude for taking a three point win which finishes Tude's Canadian Championship. He is only a year and a bit old so he is now going to sit at home and grow up a bit, then come back out to special
later.

Movie News May 22nd, 2008 Our Animal Actors are at it again!
Hugo stared in the movie Snow Buddies (He plays
Shasta along with his cousin Tux). He also did a fashion shoot, then a fashion show for
the SPCA and now he is off to Alaska for his next big adventure! We will
be updating his page with more photos and info as soon as we get a
chance. Also watch for King, Ayla, Torch, Hero and Flo in a documentary
for the Discovery channel that will play this this September.
I have some great photos that I will post soon. And we have another project
for this fall / winter.
We did a great photo shoot
with a belly dance troupe. As soon as the photos are up I will put a
link here to show them off!
Dog Show News May 3rd, 2008 Huge congrats to Bev and her boy Tude, who is now Can Ch. Arcticsun's Wolfwalker Attitude. We did really well at the Prince George
show and now Divi is a Canadian Champion!
At the Yukon Kennel Club show Janet Keller and her
boy Arcticsun's Kuzma did great, Kuzma took two Best of Winners, Two Best of Breeds and two group
placings, a 2nd and a 4th in group! Congratulations Janet and
Kuzma!
We are very proud to announce that our boy Trace is now CANADIAN Ch, Am Ch, INT Ch, Barkarian's In Your Dreams !!!!
Tude took a Best Puppy in Group at his first show in Calgary and 2 points at his second show in Camrose.

News,
April 22nd, 2008! New Photos Soon! 2007-08 Mushing Pics Well it was a better season of snow than the last few years. Mind you the sudden dump of over a foot of snow this week (after almost all the snow had been gone for 2 weeks!) We had a great time at the Pigeon Lake race and cant wait for next year. What a blast, it was wonderful to see out mushing friends again!
This winter we have something really special coming up, shhh! I am looking for people interested in learning to mush and running
teams. I have some new youngsters and experienced dogs that I want out
at the races.
Sled Breed Classic! Sat, March 24th, 2007
The Fourth Annual Sled Breed Classic was at the March Camrose show and was a rousing success. Thank you Dorothy Hood, our esteemed judge, and thank you to everyone who participated for all your support and enthusiasm.
It is great to see all she sled dog breeds. We had Alaskan Malamutes, Siberian
Huskies, Samoyeds, Canadian Eskimo Dogs, and a Chinook! This
year we were only missing the Greenland Husky. Our King won Reserve in Breed, Torch won a second and the boys looked great
in the brace class. There were some youngsters from our dogs at the classic
and they did really well too.
We have had problems with a person/kennel
stealing the photos of us and our dogs. This person is
presenting them to people saying they are photos of her and her dogs. If you
see any of these photos anywhere else PLEASE let us know.
