Now after reading all that you may wonder, so what is Farscape? Well, let's see if I can sum it up for you. You see, there's this guy John Crichton, an astronaut on Earth working on a new space shuttle project called Farscape 1. He tests the module, and gets hit by a radiation wave which hurls him into a wormhole. He has no idea where he is, and no connection with NASA. He ends up crashing into an alien spacecraft, which begins his trouble with Bilar Crais, a military commander. Crichton ends up aboard a prison transport, a ship called a Leviathan, a living ship. Aboard Moya is all sorts of other prisoner aliens. Crichton meets an alien named Aeryn, who contacts her commanding officer, Crais, with news that she has captured the fugitive Crichton. Crais decides she has been irreversably contaminated and is sentenced to death. Crichton helps her escape back to Moya. They eventually all escape the Peacekeepers, and become fugitives running into all sorts of trouble along the way. All the while the Peacekeepers hunt down Crichton for his apparent knowledge of wormhole travel. Until him, no one has been successful.
