specializes in Koi fish & various other forms of glass art and sculpture Karaba’s Koi are part of a Japanese-inspired body of work she began developing recently. Working in glass since 1997, Karaba received her M.F.A. from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2000. She has taught blowing and kiln-casting classes in Seattle at Pratt Fine Arts Center. She has worked at Pilchuck as a member of summer staff and has also attended as a student.
