AN INTERNET ROMANCE

Wayne and I met through the personal ads on the internet. I got really bored one night
so I put an in an ad just for the heck of it. Mainly for something to do. You know
how ya can get when you get bored don't you.
Well anyways..........
Wayne replied around the end of Sept. of 1998. We e-mailed
each other first and started talking to each other on ICQ first and found we had a lot
in common with each other.
I was working third shift at Wal-Mart in Dodge City and
Wayne worked 2nd shift in a factory about 50 miles east of Dodge City.
One night
after Wayne got off work he decided to go to Wal-Mart in Dodge and do some late
night "SHOPPING". And maybe he could meet me in person.
After meeting we
decided that maybe it would be alright to go out on a date. One date led to another
and sparks started flying. Neither one of us really expected to fall in LOVE but it
happened and there have been no regrets for either of us.
I ran into some bad luck in Nov. and Dec. of 98', with a car accident and had some
money stolen. I was ready to get the *?*$ out of Dodge by then. I was going to move
back to Clay Center, closer to my family, but if I would have Wayne and I wouldn't have
been able to spend much time together so we both decided that I could move to Lewis
where Wayne lives. 2 days before Christmas I moved all my belongings to Lewis. *VBS*
The month of March, 1999 was a bad month for Wayne, with the loss of 2 close
family members. I was at Wayne's side the whole time and done my best to comfort him.
Wayne then realized that he wanted me at his side for the rest of his life.
After much trouble trying to figure out a date and arrangements,
we decided on May 21,1999.
It was a beautiful spring day and everything was perfect.
Since both of us had been married before, we agreed on just a simple ceremony and
not a lot of people involved. We decided to get married at the Edwards Co. Court house
in Kinsley, Ks. with just 2 people as our witnesses.
The afternoon of our wedding day we both had to work so haven't yet taken our actual
honeymoon. We did however leave town for the weekend as soon as I was able to get off work.
