1-"Will you make me a special custom that is not on your site?" Only if the price is real good.
2-"How do you take apart figures?" I boil the heads off first, and then use an X-Acto knife in the seam of the figure until I make a gap big enough to stick a knife into, then I pryt the chest open.
3-"What tools/paint/putty do you use on your custom figures?" This paint is called System 3. It can be found at major art stores. These are 3 of the 10 colors I use. Sculpey III is what I use to add hair and anything else that is needed on a figure. A lot of people dry it with a hair dryer, but I boil it. Boiling has better results. I boil it for only five minutes at a time. I hold most of my tools in this folder. The white brushes work best for me, and the flat brush (second from left) works great for skin and tights, since it leaves no brush strokes at all. The brush firthest to the right is the perfect size for the smallest details such as Hulk Hogan's armbands (check the "OTHER CUSTOMS" section). The 8 tools in the middle are pens which are used for the smallest details such as tattoos. The tools on the right are the ones I use for sculpting detail. I also use that small file for sanding down parts on figures. This is the best sealer for plastic/rubber figures. It leaves no stickiness or odor. If I use a lot I can make the figure shiny (Eddy Guerrero). Or I can use less just to make the paint stay on (Lita).
