Cauldron

An iron or brass vessel that is used to hold fire and mix things in
(also to cook if its big enough and you want to use it in that way.) I
t represents the element of water.  It also represents the womb of the
goddess and the Goddess herself.  Even though the modern sterotype sets a
witch stirring a cauldron, one must remember that at the time that this
image was generated, every woman had a cauldron which
she used to cook.  The sterotype came from the Christian
church who wished to undermine women as much as possible.
