These pictures were taken by my mother-in-law the same day as I had my bridal portrait taken. We went to a fountain located near my home. There was actually another couple who had just been married getting their pictures taken as well. We took 4 rolls of pictures, these are just a few of them. My photographer took my professional bridal portraits at the church where we were married.

My dress was a classic style by Oleg Cassini made from matte white satin, with an A-line skirt, sweetheart neckline and short cap sleeves. My necklace was a single strand of pearls and I also wore diamond earrings. The fitted bodice was adorned with clear sequins, pearls and petite bugle beads for just the right amount of sparkle. I wanted that extra dazzle. The trane is what sold me on the dress. It had a semi-cathedral tulle inset trane with the same sequins and pearls from the bodice. The back of the dress had a row of satin bridal buttons.  It had one bustle and it really looked fabulous when it was bustled for the reception. I wore a fingertip two-tiered veil with thin white satin piping around the edges.

It is such a shame I can only wear it this one time. I wish that I had been able to wear it for more than just one day! Even the seamstress commented on how gorgeous it was!

[Dress of the Month] Thanks Robyn for this honor, my dress was selected as Dress of the Month for August 2000 by Wholly Matrimony!

I was selected as an Honorable Mention in the Dress Contest of the Year. Click award to see my entry.
