About the Guild: |
Rocky Mountain Wa Shonaji was formed in 1994, by African-American women interested in quilt making and fiber arts from an African-American perspective. |
They strive to learn about and preserve the tradition, culture, and history of the African-American quilt maker. -- Boulder Public Library fall 2000 Newsletter, |

The 8 year old metro-Denver group meets first Saturdays at the Park Hill Library between September and May. Other arrangements are made between June and August, or when the first weekend is a holiday. |
Funds raised are used to bring African-American quilt artists, historians, or teachers, to Denver, and to present quilt related workshops. |
