Ether
Ether/Kurious Jorge's initiation into the electronica scene happened when he was 16 in Europe. He started spinning gabber, but shortly after fell in love with trance, sticking to the psychedelic sound and hence ETHER was born. Ether is the founder and a label DJ for CATALEPSY RECORDS. Ether's goal when spinning is to take you on a psychedelic journey in which you can explore your subconscious mind. Sets are beat mixed with samples thrown in to set the mood for the next stage in the journey. The journey can start out progressive and funky, become hard and minimal, and work its way into the 'full on' insanity of nighttime psychedelic/goa trance. Only to drop uplifting anthems to make you go harder one more time.
Due to the way pschedelic/goa trance is structured, it does not allow for long extended mixes to happen too often. Ether was craving the long mixes that are capable with progressive trance/house and certain house music. This brought about Ether's alter ego, KURIOUS JORGE. When spinning as Kurious Jorge, he only has one thing on his mind. He wants to get into your head with is progressive beats and keep your juices flowin' with the house.
