Velvasheen emerged out of the mid atlantic music scene in the fall of 1997.
Playing over 170 shows within 2 years the original members of velvasheen. Valenza and Charlie
departed from the band to take on new projects. Frontman/songwriter Mike Q has produced many new songs
and continues his music under the velvasheen name. Velvasheen made its name as a 3 piece punk rock band.
Currently Mike Q is producing electronic/acoustic/digital music and videos.
Velvasheen will also be releasing a variety of video and a fully produced collection of new songs this year.
