    Banana Boats

Sent in by a Scout's Mom.

These, in my opinion are the BEST desert to make using a campfire on coals that have burnt down to a dull red after the cooking of the meal is finished.

For Each Banana Boat you will need:

a banana

a square of aluminum foil big enough to wrap the banana in

a half of a regular Hershey bar

a handful of mini marshmallows

To make:

Take a knife and slice down the length of the banana but don't break through the other side of the peel  (like a baked potato)

Break apart the segments of the Hershey bar and push then into the opening

Shove in as many mini-marshmallows along the entire length of the opening

Wrap loosely in the foil

Place on dull red coals and cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally

Open up the foil grab a spoon and Enjoy!  MMMMMmmmmm good!
