Do you have a suggestion , comment or advice on Equipment email me at heavyracer@aol.com I read some of the suggestions given for running shoes for the heavy runner and I noticed the Brooks Beast was not on there. So I just had let you guys know that I am 30/ 225 and have been running in this shoe my doctor, who is a marathoner,recommended. Let me tell you these shoes are like clouds on your feet. I use them to log in the miles and trade them in for lighter shoes on race day. I installed some elastic shoe laces, so I haven't had to tie them again, just slip them on like a pair of slippers. I bought them for 100 dollars a year ago, but you can still find them in some stores for 60. My next race is the Ultimate Escape from Alcatraz on June 25 hope to see some of you there.
