Fall tour reaction to the Gateway has been nothing short of amazing. People still want more! So, we are trying to get a new design together before the New Years madness. Think of something that embodies our cause but can include everybody. Post it to the list or email me. This is a great way to get involved.

PARTY AT LAURA'S HOUSE!!!

This red hot mama has volunteered her abode for a Gateway lunch on New Years Eve! She lives in Roswell, GA, 30 minutes north of the venue. More details to come but I EXPECT every one of you in Atlanta for New Years to show up and represent.

We have plenty of time to plan on staying in the same hotels, hooking up for daytime meetings, going to Laura's lunch (yippie!), etc. Don’t be scared! We want to know you! Come out of lurk mode and reach out to a group just waiting to be your friend. Make a post to the list of where you are staying and what your plans are and we’ll all hook up. ATLANTA SOBERFANS – step up and lead us!

What We're About

The Gateway is a fellowship of music fans who are dedicated to overcoming addictions to alcohol and drugs. We are not affiliated with any one area of the recovery community and welcome members of all 12-Step and other recovery and support groups.

The primary purpose of The Gateway is to provide support, information, and hope at Widespread Panic shows to fans who are trying to stay sober. We accomplish this by creating a visual presence of sober fans who can go to shows with one another. We are not affiliated with Widespread Panic or their management.

At Shows

We now will have a table at many Widespread Panic shows. Please come in and look for our table with yellow balloons. It will be inside the venue, and somewhere out of the way. There will be a meeting at setbreak. Candy will be available, as well as literature. We are self-supporting through our own contributions, so please leave a donation in our basket if you have a spare buck or two. If you would like to volunteer for the table please go to the Service Work section of the website.
