Terran are the are the ultimate middle men. Balancing technology with unit availability, they pack a hard punch... Oooooh Yah.
The Terran units are based on effectively implementing siege tanks, bunkers and general weapons of mass destruction. Playing as the terran I can usually win by implementing a basic strategy; spreading out early expanding the terran tech tree and passing over of not needed units and buildings. This strategy is not so much rush oriented as it is preparing for an enemy attack by being able to constantly apply effective attacking forces. By expanding contantly one will not cluster buildings and would be less affected by a sudden attack of a nuclear missle. By contantly expanding, loosing ground on the map will not be a devistation because you will have amounted much more than your loss.
Steps to Building Up a Tree and Winning with the terran race:
1. Build up 8 scvs
2. Build up 8 supply depots and build a barracks, an engineering bay
3. Build up 30 scvs while expanding out with bunkers while building a marine force.
4. Expand out while and post bunkers seige tanks and many turrents to detect and destroy ships.
Tip: In starcraft advanced units with "invisi-shit" are a key part in victory. Nothing is more annoying than an attacking unit attacking your base with "invisi-shit." This also makes detectors extremly valuable.
