Argus/University of Michigan Clearinghouse Provides rating of bibliographies of Internet resources, including listservs, Web sites, and more, arranged by category. Many links to educational sites.
Google is a very popular search engine and consider the best. You can locate images, websites, directories and groups.
HotBot Claims to have 110 million Web pages in its database. The system automatically inserts a Boolean "and" between search words. In order to narrow a search, you must select "Boolean search" by using operators ("and", "or", "not") in a search statement.
Infoseek Guide Category list of Internet resources. Within a category, provides links to related sites--e.g., go to related newsgroups, or search for similar topics.
