MY FAMILY

Like most people, My family is very important to me. My family has always been encouraging, supportive and always there for me. When I speak of family I don't just mean my mother, father and brother. I'm talking about aunts, uncles and cousins. Everyone who makes up a family.

Someone once said they couldn't believe how our family pulled together in a crisis and that wost families don't do that.

Garth Brooks sings a song "If Tomorrow Never Comes" the closing lines say:
"So tell that someone that you Love
Just what you're thinking of
If tomorrow never comes"
I hope that if something ever happened to me my family would know how much I LOVE THEM.

MY FATHER

My father Guy was an important person in my life, not only because he was my dad and I was daddy's girl, but because he taught me so much. Dad always worked hard to support his family.
He and my mom were married June 4, 1966 for many years dad worked for a burial vault company. After his retirement he began farming. Not a big dairy farm but one big enough to keep him busy.
My love for animals comes from my dad. I can't ever remember a time when we didn't have at least one animal at our house. Dad is also where I get my love for nature, just to sit and watch the birds out my window makes me feel closer to dad.
My dad was born December 22,1916 the youngest of 16 children to Lury and Gertrude Penner Tilbe. He was probably closest to his brother Frank(Buster) who was only 4 years older. Dad saw uncle Buster everyday except for when they were in the war or when dad had been in the hospital. Their bond was very close and 4 months after my father passed away my uncle died as well. Somehow I believe they are together today. In someways I know my father had to go before Uncle Buster because watching my uncle suffer would have been so very hard for dad to go through.
On May 28, 1987 my father passed away. It wasn't expected and our loss was a great one. Though dad wasn't one for words we knew he loved us and that we were important to him.
One thing I regret is that dad never got to meet Mike. I have a feeling though that dad would have liked him very much.
Even though My Father isn't with us in body I know that he's with me everyday in spirit watch over me and laughing. Hopefully not too hard though...

MY MOTHER

My mom Ruth has taught me so much in my life sofar but I know there is much more to learn.
Mom also has always worked hard to provide for her family. Many times she would go without so my brother or I could have something. That's my mom always putting the needs of others before her own. I have never known anyone with as much compassion for others as she has.
Last year mom underwent major surgery, she's done great since then. It also made me realize just how special she is.
Mom works at the same hospital that I do. She's been there for over 30 years holding many different jobs. Presently she is in charge of the Transport Department.
Mom was born January 1, 1946 to John and Marjorie Croissant Morgan the 4th of their 6 children.
Mom has had to watch her mother and 3 older sisters surcome to the disease of cancer. Where she gets her strength I'll never know.
She is very close to her younger sister Paula and her family.
No matter how old I get I always need, love and respect my mom. She is truly loved by Mike and myself. I can't thank her enough for taking Mike into our family and making him feel like he's really one of her own children.
I'd have to say that my mom is the one person in my life I've always been able to count on. I don't even what to think what my life would be like without her there.
Mom I love you more then you'll ever know...
