About Jeff and Donna...

Jeff and Donna Puckett, Assistant Chapter Directors for GAA2, served as Chapter Directors from the Chapter's chartering in 1992 through the end of 1999. During much of that time they have also been editors of our newsletter, Shamrock Road Rider News, and continue in that job.

Jeff is a science teacher at Dublin High School where he teaches Chemistry and STS (Science, Technology, and Society), is head of the science department, and webmaster for the school. He has also been a volunteer firefighter with the Poplar Springs Rural Fire Department, a unit of Laurens County Rural Fire Defense, since 1987.

Donna is retired from Moore Street Elementary in Dublin, where she taught Third Grade science classes.

Jeff and Donna married in 1978, and have no children. They do have a Shih Tzu dog named "Harley". He's named Harley for several reasons. First, he's really pretty to look at, but not very practical for anything. He makes a lot of noise and he's very low to the ground. If he sits in one place too long, you might find a puddle under him when he moves, and, if he has to go very far, he WANTS TO BE CARRIED!

Jeff and Donna currently ride a two-tone green 1996 GL1500SE with a matching Escapade SE cargo trailer. They average riding about 16,000 miles per year and are happy to report that, between this bike and their previous 1100, they have ridden in all 48 continental states.
