Al and Frances Starley, Chuck and B.J. Hohman, Wayne and Nina Carlton, and Jeff Puckett rode to Chapter A's Spring Renewal Party at High Falls on April 8. Ben and Martha Jo Maddox came along in their car with the grandkids. They were the smart ones. The ride was great until we were two exits from High Falls, and then the skies opened up. Just as we were thoroughly wet, the rain stopped. Then the wind kicked up to 30-35 mph, which is COLD if you're already wet!

Still, after we got to the park, the skies cleared some and we had a great picnic lunch. We also picked up a few door prizes. Chapter A had a really good turnout, especially considering the weather, and did a superb job putting on this event. We enjoyed it guys, and thanks for having us!

The ride home was interesting with the gusting winds, but everybody made it safely!
